EMPOWER OTHERS THROUGH POSITIVE ACTIONS

Strength-based supervision is different from hierarchical supervision and other leadership styles. Strength-based supervision focuses on the unique strengths of individuals, emphasizes these positive attributes, and builds on them to empower and grow others into the co-workers, supervisors, and leaders that agencies need. It is a relationship model that accentuates a person’s autonomy and ability to solve problems. It emphasizes opportunities for leaders to complement and support existing strengths in others. Strength-based leaders focus on what people can do rather than what they cannot do, builds on these abilities, and acknowledges there may be challenges to address.  This workshop will explore and expand your skills as a leader, providing you with alternative options for your toolkit as a leader.
