It’s Not Your Grandparents’ Mary Jane

The goal of this training is to provide individuals with current information regarding the use of marijuana in today’s society, which will allow them to be knowledgeable when providing care for individuals within the community. This course will also offer information on marijuana use prevention.

Educational Objectives

After completing this course, participants will be able to:

  • Obtain knowledge regarding the history of marijuana use in the US
  • Identify the different strand classes of marijuana from 1960’s to the 21st century
  • Identify the different methods of how marijuana is used
  • Identify 2 concepts of prevention to deter the use of marijuana
