Recovery Principles for Treatment Professionals

Designed specifically for addiction professionals, this training will define each guiding principle of recovery, outline how each guiding principle incorporates into addiction practice and provide examples of recovery-oriented practices, services and tools.  Always a crowd favorite, Carver Brown will also review commonly accepted recovery-oriented competencies and education for the addiction profession. 

Learning Objectives

After completing this course, participants will be able to:

  • Discuss the guiding principles of recovery
  • Define at least five of the guiding principles of recovery
  • Demonstrate the guiding principles of recovery
  • Describe at least three new recovery-oriented practices, services and/or tools to incorporate into your practice
