They Tell me to Produce an Ethics CE Cert Every 2 years: What Changes??

Everyone in the social services field is required to have hours of continuing education in Ethics for licensing and certification purposes. When we begin to think of this requirement our thoughts turn to, “Sometimes I find ethics boring, sometimes I find ethics workshops informational, and sometimes I find the workshop presents troubling information.”

This course will teach those in the social services field how to protect themselves from complaints, what to do with a complaint, and what is new in the social service field concerning ethics that they need to know about.

Educational Objectives

After completing this course, participants will:

  • Know the importance of keeping updated on potential ethical issues, and change in the laws, statues and requirements of their certification or license.
  • Be informed of what to do when challenged with an ethical dilemma.
  • Be updated on state policy and board policy concerning ethics.
